Legendary Swiss Quality and Accuracy

Striebig Vertical Panel Saws have long been the benchmark by which all other vertical panel saws are measured. Manufactured in Switzerland by some of the best engineers and machinery builders in the world, Striebigs are legendary for accuracy and dependability. Unlike other manufacturers who try to be all things to all people, Striebig only produces vertical panel saws.

Whether your business demands a small 4HP Compact or a fully equipped 7.5HP Control, Striebig can fit the need with stack cutting capability, and a variety of options including angle cutting, digital measuring, and grooving to tailor the machine to suit any application.

  • Striebig Strength - All of the Striebig saws are constructed with a fully welded, heavy-duty frame that stays square over time. The precision rollers will not collect dust or chips that can set a panel out of square, and material handling is so easy, it is truly a one-man saw!

  • The rigid center shelf allows for comfortable cutting of smaller pieces, and yet is strong enough to stand on.

  • Scoring, whether with simple main-blade climb cutting or with a true scoring saw, is standard on Striebig saws.
  • Simplicity of design is expressed in the shifting backing grid that mechanically shifts the grid out of the way when the saw blade aligns with a grid member on a horizontal rip cut.

  • All Striebigs, whether they require an external dust collector or not, provide appropriate extraction ducting that keeps dust to a minimum.
  • Accuracy, simplicity, dependability and quality; these traits sum up all Striebig saws to give you one of best investments you can make in your shop!

World's First Vertical Panel Saw with Pivoting Head

In 1958, Ludwig Striebig, a Swiss cabinetmaker, was tired of ripping his panels by pushing the panel thru the power saw on his vertical saw. Realizing it would be much easier if the panel were stationary and the sawblade moved, he designed and built a complete wooden prototype to test his idea. Fellow cabinetmakers asked Ludwig to please make this new concept saw, and in 1961 the Striebig Company began producing the world's first vertical panel saws with a specially designed, pivoting saw head attached to a rolling beam. For the first time in the world, all cuts could be made with the panel stationery. From 1961 until today, the Striebig Company has kept Ludwig Striebig's tight focus - to manufacture only vertical panel saws and to make them the best in the world.
